Is a coffee subscription worth it?
It is worth it if you brew coffee at home most days and want to taste more than one roaster. You pay $16.99 a bag for any roast, the first bag is free with $7.99 shipping, and you can skip or cancel online whenever the coffee is piling up.
What you get for that price is a new independent Oregon roaster each box, roasted to order, instead of the same supermarket bag every week. If you already have one Portland or Bend roaster you love and never want to leave, buy from them directly. That is a good outcome too.
Why buy from Oregon roasters instead of a national brand?
Because the money stays close. The roasting, packing and cafe jobs are in towns like Portland, Bend, Sisters and Eugene, and for an Oregon address the bag travels a short way from roaster to you.

How much does it cost?
$16.99 a bag, any roast or style. First bag free, you pay $7.99 shipping on that first box.
Is the first bag really free?
Yes, your first bag of coffee is free and you pay $7.99 shipping for that first box. One free bag per customer, matched by email and shipping address.
What can I choose?
Roast level (light, medium, dark or mix it up), style (single origin, blend, espresso or decaf) and grind (whole bean or ground). The plan builder sets all of it, and a three-question quiz can pick for you.
How big is a bag?
12 oz, the roaster's own bag.
How often does a box come?
Every 2 or 4 weeks, your choice.
We drink different coffee at home. Can we share a box?
Yes. Pick two bags and give the second its own roast and style. A dark blend for one person and a decaf for the other both arrive in the same box.
Do espresso and decaf cost more?
No. Single origin, blend, espresso and decaf are all $16.99 a bag. See the espresso, decaf and single origin plans.
Gifts
How much is a gift?
$66.99 for 3 boxes, $134.99 for 6 and $269.99 for 12, shipping included. You pay once and it does not renew.
What does the gift include?
One bag per box, each from a different Oregon roaster. You pick the roast, the grind and the start date, and you can add a gift note if you want one.
Can I send a gift to someone outside Oregon?
Yes, to any US address. It is a good way to send Oregon to someone who moved away. More on the gifts page.
Delivery and freshness
How fresh is the coffee?
Roasted and shipped within 3 days. Each roaster roasts your bag to order and ships it from their own roastery.
Who ships my box?
The roaster does, in their own bag and packaging, with our packing slip inside. The slip names the roaster, their shop and what to taste for.
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the US.

Which roasters are in the club?
Independent roasters that roast in Oregon, a different one each box, named on the packing slip. The roasters on our roasters pages are local favorites we list, and a listing does not mean a roaster is part of the club.
Will I get the same roaster twice?
Not in your first year. Oregon has 178 independent roasters by the Roast Local count, so each box is one you have not had from us before.
How do you choose roasters?
They must be independent, roast in Oregon and be operating when we check. The full policy, including how a roaster asks for a correction, is on how we choose roasters.
Do roasters get a fair price?
Each roaster names its own wholesale price. We do not ask anyone to undercut what they charge.
Your account
Can I skip, pause or cancel?
Yes, online, anytime before the next box is roasted. Every email we send has the links.
Will I know before a box ships?
Yes. A reminder email 3 days before each box tells you it is coming, so you can skip or cancel first.
What if a bag disappoints?
Free replacement if a bag disappoints: tell us and a different coffee goes out. Your ratings steer the next bag.
How do I reach a person?
