What the espresso plan sends
Our espresso bean subscription sends a 12 oz bag roasted to pull a good shot, from a different independent Oregon roaster every box. Set the style to espresso in the plan builder, pick whole bean or ground, and choose every 2 or 4 weeks. It costs the same as any other bag: $16.99. First bag free, you pay $7.99 shipping.
What it does not send: pods, capsules or a machine. It is beans for the grinder and espresso machine you already own. If you grind at home, choose whole bean; a shot needs a finer grind than most pre-ground coffee.

Does the espresso plan cost more?
No. Every bag is $16.99, espresso included, and the first bag is free with $7.99 shipping.
Can I mix espresso with a drip coffee?
Yes. Choose two bags and set the second to its own roast and style, so one bag is for the espresso machine and the other for the drip pot.
Will I know which roaster made it?
Yes. The roaster's name is on their own bag, and our packing slip tells you about their shop and what to taste for.
Which roast level should I pick for espresso?
Any of them. Oregon espressos run from Trailhead's light Black Label to Dapper & Wise's dark Stag, so set light, medium or dark to match the shots you like, or mix it up to let each roaster choose.
Is there a decaf espresso?
Not as one style: set one bag to espresso and a second bag to decaf. Among roasters we list, Noble roasts a Decaf World Tour espresso blend and Dapper & Wise a Decaf Stag Espresso, as checked on 2026-09-27.
Should I choose whole bean or ground for espresso?
Whole bean if you own a grinder. Espresso needs a fine, fresh grind, and grinding right before you pull the shot gives you the most control.
