- We send your order to an independent Oregon roaster. They roast it to order. Roasted and shipped within 3 days.
- The box comes straight from their roastery, in their own bag, with our packing slip inside.
- You rate the bag. Your ratings steer the next bag.
- A reminder email 3 days before each box tells you what is coming, with links to skip, pause or cancel before anything ships.
Year one runs along the Columbia River Gorge. Each of the first twelve boxes is named for a waterfall, starting at Fairy Falls and ending at Multnomah Falls, the twelfth stop and the one that shares the club's name.
What comes in the box
You get the roaster's own 12 oz bag and our packing slip. The slip names the roaster and their shop, tells a little of their story, and lists what to taste for.
The slip is the point. When you know a bag came from Bend or Hillsboro or a garage-born roaster in North Portland, you know where to buy the next one. Money spent with an Oregon roaster pays Oregon wages and keeps small roastery doors open. We wrote more about that on why local roasters matter.
Ratings, replacements and changes
Rate each bag after you drink it. Your ratings steer the next bag. Start on mix it up and your ratings show which way you lean, toward an Ashland single origin or a dark blend from the coast. Free replacement if a bag disappoints: tell us and a different coffee goes out.
Nothing ships by surprise. A reminder email 3 days before each box carries links to skip that box, pause, or cancel, and they work anytime before the next box is roasted. One free first bag per customer, matched by email and shipping address.
Who roasts it
Independent roasters who roast in Oregon and were operating when we checked. They set their own wholesale price, roast your bag to order and ship it themselves. We do not rebag anything.

Yes. Choose two bags and give the second its own roast and style, such as a light single origin and a decaf. Both arrive in the same box.
Do you ship outside Oregon?
Yes, anywhere in the US. The coffee is roasted in Oregon and shipped from the roaster to you.
