Lost & Found Coffee is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Oregon: an independent roaster based in Portland. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
The company buys directly from smallholder farmers in Latin America and calls its model relationship trade, sharing growers' stories with each bag. Beans are roasted weekly in small batches at its Portland micro-roastery and shipped nationwide. Coffees come mainly from Central America, and the site profiles partner farms including Blue Sunrise, La Mona Finca, AFAORCA and Finca el Limón.
The company says it began with one farm relationship and a goal of making coffee more human. Its small team of baristas and creatives travels to origin to meet the growers it buys from. Jocsan, who farms Finca El Limon in La Paz, Honduras, took over the family plot with his brother at 18 after their father died. The farm sits at about 1,600 meters and uses honey and natural processing.

Where to drink it
The coffee is poured at a cart inside Westside Wines in Raleigh Hills and at a coffee bar inside Grace Chapel in Wilsonville, both open to the public.

The Wilsonville coffee bar sits just inside the doors of Grace Chapel and welcomes anyone for coffee and light bites, not only people attending services. In Raleigh Hills a Lost & Found cart operates inside Westside Wines, pairing coffee drinks and bags of beans with the shop's wine selection. The Multnomah Village spot started as the Minnie Winnie coffee truck and later a small shop in the Alive Center. Its operator has since moved two doors down to a new shop, Overflow Coffee, which still serves Lost & Found beans.
