Autumn Coffee Roasting is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Oregon: an independent roaster based in Portland, founded in 2018. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
Autumn got its start in 2018 as a stand at the Gresham Farmers Market. Its second cafe now sits a few steps from that market, inside the Gresham Arts Plaza apartments. A mobile cafe has been on the road since spring 2021. It also takes bookings for weddings, parties and community events all year. Aequus, the signature blend, is half Colombian and half Guatemalan at a medium roast. Its name refers to the equinox, when day and night run equal.
Reaper is the house espresso blend, full bodied with a citrus edge, and the roaster suggests it for drip, pour over and cold brew as well. Roasting currently happens on Sundays, so wholesale pickup orders placed before then are ready on Monday afternoon.

Both cafes open daily, and the mobile cafe works two farmers markets from May to October.

Why buying from Autumn Coffee Roasting matters here
On weekends from May through October the coffee truck serves the Gresham Farmers Market on Saturdays and the Milwaukie Farmers Market on Sundays. The Concordia flagship stands at the corner of 33rd and Killingsworth with a first come parking lot behind it, and it stays open on holidays with shorter hours. Regulars can join a supporter program that offers discounts and help with brewing at home.
