Their story

Two lifelong friends, Chase and Jasen, began roasting at home as a way to stay in touch. Later they moved to a proper roaster and sold bags to friends. Farmers markets in outer Portland came next. Close to five years on, the pair opened their first cafe in North Portland. The note on the about page is signed by Jasen, Chase, Josh and Bailey, which points to a team of four behind the cafe and roaster today.

Its current bag is a washed Guatemala from Antigua, grown at 1,250 to 1,350 meters and taken to a medium roast with brown sugar, honey and nutty notes.
