Their story

Founder Robyn designs, owns and roasts for the brand, which pairs a specialty coffee line with clothing that carries faith-based, encouraging messages. The name compares a bean's roasting, and a pot left to finish brewing, to the hard seasons that shape a person. Small batches are roasted in The Dalles, and bags sell online and at Sawyer's Ace Hardware in town.

Robyn links the idea to a morning in 2013 at her parents' home, when her father stopped her from pouring a cup mid brew. He explained that pulling coffee early leaves the pot uneven, a lesson she now ties to patience and faith.
