Farewell Coffee Roasters is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Oregon: an independent roaster based in Bend. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
The idea grew from coffee shared around a fire station table, which led to home roasting and, some years later, a small business. Husband Garret, a career firefighter paramedic, roasts and picks every coffee on his days off, while wife Carlee runs the website, customer service and shipping. Garret works as a firefighter paramedic with Clackamas Fire District #1, and Carlee builds the website and content besides handling customer service and orders.
Jam Session is a natural process single origin from Ethiopia, while Giddy Up is the breakfast style blend and Happy Camper a medium roast with chocolate and toffee notes. The decaf, Afternoon Delight, is a Swiss Water Process medium roast blend, and the company also sells instant coffee in stick packets, from five packs to bulk boxes of several hundred. Retailers around the country can order through the Faire wholesale marketplace, and cafes and bookstores can ask about wholesale pricing and leased brewing equipment.

House blends include Giddy Up, Happy Camper, Jam Session, Neon Moon and Early Bird. Single origins on the list when we checked: Ethiopia natural (Jam Session). Decaf: Afternoon Delight. Offerings change with the seasons, so this is what their own pages listed on 2026-09-28.
