Forage Coffee Co is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Oregon: an independent roaster based in Medford, founded in 2019. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
Medford natives Jacob Terando and Storm Faulconer opened the shop in 2019 after a year of building it out. The cafe later started roasting its own coffee and now sells bags alongside brunch and espresso drinks. The two founders set out to bring a stronger coffee culture to their hometown, and the story page describes the shop as a daily gathering place built around coffee.
Recent single origins have included a washed Guatemala from Cubulco, a natural Ethiopia Chelchele with tropical fruit notes and a washed Honduras Guama Danta, all sold in 12 ounce bags.

Brunch runs Monday through Saturday, with toast built on levain from Rise Up Bakery and a pork belly sandwich on a house biscuit. Forage has begun selling its locally roasted beans wholesale to churches, cafes, restaurants and retailers. Groups can book the Main Street cafe for events through a reservation form on the site.
