Pacifik Coffee Roasters is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Oregon: an independent roaster based in Dundee, founded in 2017. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
Chris and his wife launched the company in 2017, and he set out to learn roasting well enough to explain it in everyday terms. The family still lives in Eugene, though roasting production has moved to a space in Dundee in the Willamette Valley. Product pages name the farms and producers behind each coffee, reflecting the owner's aim of showing buyers where their beans were grown.
Chris is part Hawaiian and grew up visiting a large extended family on Oahu; his parents ran their own small business, and he and his wife are raising three children. The espresso blend pairs Brazil Salmo Plus, a mix from five farms in the Cerrado and Sul de Minas, with a coffee from Narino, Colombia. Its Guatemala comes from five farms around the town of Cubulco in central Guatemala, where cherries are hand picked, washed and dried in the sun.
The company roasts once or twice a week, and the current menu also lists a Costa Rica, an Ethiopia and a Colombia decaf.

Why buying from Pacifik Coffee Roasters matters here
Beans are sold online and on shelves at local grocery stores, which the site lists under a Buy Local page. Market of Choice carries the bags at several Eugene stores, including Willakenzie, Willamette and Franklin Boulevard, as well as in Bend and West Linn. Chris calls Eugene home and says he looks for wholesale partners among cafes, restaurants, churches and other businesses.
