STOKED Roasters is one of the beloved local roasters we follow in Oregon: an independent roaster based in Hood River, founded in 2019. Here is what their own pages and public sources say about them, in our words.
Their story
Siblings Emily and Katelyn, both from the Gorge, joined with Cameron in 2019 to open a family-run roastery and tasting room. Roasting happens on site on a 25 pound San Franciscan machine the team calls Pearl. Katelyn worked as a barista in San Francisco while studying at the Academy of Art University, then moved to Portland and earned several Master Coffee certifications.
Cameron's coffee habit started early: the team page says he had his first latte at age twelve at the Beanery in Corvallis. Every bean it roasts carries organic certification from the Oregon Department of Agriculture, and decaf blends use only water processed green coffee. It buys Fair Trade when it can. The lineup centers on six Signature Series blends plus a rotating single origin, a single origin espresso and an espresso blend.

House blends include First Tracks, Soul Session, Double Overhead, Bluebird, First Light and FALLSTOKE. Single origins on the list when we checked: Rotating Single Origin. It bills itself as the official coffee of the outdoors, and blend names such as First Tracks, Bluebird, Whiteout and Double Overhead come from skiing and surfing slang.
