Their story
Whisperwood is a small roasting business owned by a family in Albany, in the Willamette Valley of western Oregon. Its shop recently added a dark roast and a decaf to a short list of whole bean coffees. Faerie Circle, the light roast, is an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, and the listing jokes that the shorter roast leaves more caffeine in the bean.
Witching Hour is the dark option, a smoky Sumatra, sold for 18 dollars a bag on the online shop. For decaf drinkers, the Nightcap blend uses decaffeinated beans from Central America taken to a medium dark roast.

Roast levels run Light, Medium dark and Dark. House blends include House Roast, Faerie Circle and Witching Hour. Single origins on the list when we checked: Ethiopia Yirgacheffe (Faerie Circle) and Sumatra (Witching Hour). Decaf: Nightcap Decaf Blend.
